Digital Transformation ( DT ) or better yet, continuous organisation adaptation will rattle an employee's identity, and when that perception of identity is muddled, breeds doubt;
Doubt is a swamping pool of fear, & fear lingers one's appetite toward the rite-of-passage, and to have haste, is to provide psychological safety to your team.
No one is flawless... I can't write without spell-check anymore, and here I am writing a blog. Is my audacity inconceivable? Maybe, but never had I got hired for my spelling proficiency, I get paid to solve problems.
DT highlight my flaws indefinitely, but it also helps me resolve them with grace.
( I'm surprised Grammarly's server haven't crashed as I type...I must be improving. )
The skill of problem-solving will always remain in the capabilities of the team, not in some digital application. Focus not on how DT is going to be part of your problem, instead, strategically choose what not to do, skip where it might cause you pain and focus on where and how it could help you solve problem; problems you dread each and every day. It's a balancing act.
now I no longer fear to publicize my words on air.
( I hope Grammarly pays me well for this free advertisement )
